Warm Hospitality Breaks The Chill at the Minnesota Cattlemen’s Convention!
It may have felt like -19 outside the Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria Minnesota but inside spirits were high and the hospitality was warm at the at the MSCA Annual Convention & Trade Show.
We want to express our appreciation and sincere thanks to interim Executive Director Lynn Giess and her team for their outstanding job in planning and running the convention. It was PERFECT!
We made many new friends and shared new information about our monoslope beef barns during the December 12-14 2013 convention. We were especially pleased to find so much interest in deep pit facilities this year.
In addition to introducing the new PacSlat Optimizer manure storage system and discussing the many considerations in monoslope cattle housing design options we also spread the word about the upcoming series of meetings (the 2014 University of Minnesota Fertilizer Value of Manure Field Days) where attendees will receive new information regarding fertilizer value of manure as well as a new understanding of the factors determining nutrient balance.
Watch your mailbox and the Summit Livestock Facilities website for more information about the 2014 University of Minnesota Fertilizer Value of Manure Field Days.
