Summit Livestock Facilities to Sponsor 2015 Iowa State University Feedlot Forum
The 2015 Feedlot Forum will be held January 22 at the Terrace View Event Center located south of Sioux Center on Highway 75.
This year’s forum focuses on new frontiers. Kristina Butts Executive Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association will begin the day-long event with a discussion of ag policy and the impact of the 2014 Farm Bill on beef producers.
Other presentations will feature changing corn co-products what’s coming in animal welfare managing feedlot risk in uncertain times and market outlook.
