New Nebraska Beef Feedlot Permitting Information
March 16 2012 Remington Indiana: Miles Ridgway President of Summit Livestock Facilities a DBA and brand of FBi Buildings Inc. has announced the availability of newly published information about the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) regulations regarding the permitting and construction of enclosed beef feedlot facilities in Nebraska. According to Ridgway this new information is being released by Summit Livestock Facilities to help those beef producers who may be unsure of the new and changing requirements relating to the two permits issued to AFOs in Nebraska: the state Construction and Operating Permit and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit.
