Iowa Cattlemen’s Association and Summit Livestock Facilities Launch new ICA Beef Business Connections
We just returned from a terrific Iowa Cattlemen’s Association annual convention.
One of the highlights of the convention was the launch of the new ICA Beef Business Connections initiative.
This ICA program of information and education will connect Iowa beef producers to the resources they need to improve profit potential.
The program sponsored by Summit Livestock Facilities was introduced during Tuesday night’s banquet which was also sponsored by Summit livestock Facilities.
Matt Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association said: "It is the mission of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association to grow beef business in Iowa through advocacy leadership and education. And through ICA Beef Business Connections initiative the ICA will provide information training and education aimed at improving longevity and profit potential for cattle producers across Iowa.”
Miles Ridgway President of Summit Livestock Facilities also addressed the convention thanking the ICA for the opportunity to be the founding sponsor of the Beef Business Connections. He said "It is our privilege and pleasure to be the founding sponsor this exciting initiative. Improving profit potential for cattle producers is what Summit Livestock Facilities is all about. And we value this opportunity to make this contribution to the cattle industry in Iowa.”
