Iowa Beef Producers Discover how to Build Farm Legacies and Maintain Family Harmony
This past March 14 beef producers from across Iowa gathered at the Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence IA to attend one of beef industries premier events featuring the subject of beef operation ownership transfer.
An interesting case study and work session was presented by Lars Peterson business advisor for Transition Point Business Advisors. It highlighted how producers work to build family legacies and maintain harmony in the family with children inside as well as outside the farming business.
Moe Russell co-founder and president of Russell Consulting Group presented valuable insights to preparing financially for a transition of farm ownership.
The event was hosted by the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association Beef Business Connections program. Summit Livestock Facilities is the founding sponsor of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association Beef Business Connections program and the prime sponsor of this event.
