Interesting Article Might Make You Think Differently About Feeding Cattle Indoors

Recently Angus Journal chose the Schiefelbein family feeding operation as the subject of an article about the key to successful generational transition of ownership – Making room in the operation and optimizing revenue by creating additional value.
It’s interesting to note that when the family tried to be a low-cost producer by cutting costs revenue also got smaller and money was just as tight.
Their conclusion: The true focus should be growing revenue by adding value to the product being produced.
Instead of cutting costs they started increasing revenue in the article Schiefelbein explains "Ignorance purchases on price. Knowledge purchases on value. You have to spend money to make money."
