Interest in Feeding Cattle Indoors Ran High at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Show
The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association show is the largest most important national show in the cattle business. So it was no surprise that this year’s show in Nashville Tennessee was the best ever for the Summit Livestock Facilities beef team.
During the show (February 4 5 and 6) we had the great pleasure of talking to dozens of producers with a high level of interest in feeding cattle indoors. And we also reconnected with many past customers who stopped by the Summit booth to share their positive results in feeding cattle in their Summit Livestock Facilities monoslope beef barns.
We also connected with many other industry leaders including Dr. Ron Gill who was working in the demonstration area in support of the NCBA's Beef Quality Assurance program Stockmanship & Stewardship. During the show Ron demonstrated cattle handling methods that improve gathering penning chute work and hauling.
All said we learned a lot at the show and greatly appreciate the time we shared with producers from throughout the United States.
