Day three of the University of Minnesota fertilizer value of manure field days gave attendees the opportunity to see an unusual building designed and managed to optimize cattle feeding efficiency and the nutrient fertilizer value of the manure – the Summit Livestock Facilities PacSlat Optimizer.
This design includes two types of manure storage – bed pack under roof and slat over pit.
