Discover the keys to optimizing the value of manure generated in your feedlot!
The University of Minnesota and Summit Livestock Facilities are pleased to present Fertilizer Value of Manure Field Days.
Attend and discover:
- The value of manure and costs associated with manure removal
- Various manure application systems
- Factors determining nutrient balance and brokering the value of manure
When you attend Field Day, you'll see demonstrations of various manure application systems and visit with representatives of companies that manufacture manure application equipment and related equipment and supplies.
You will get the facts you need to:

Request this Valuable Report!
This report includes recent information about the fertilizer value of manure and impact of facilities design on manure nutrient value. Research data was generated in cooperation with Extended Ag Services, through a grant from the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
It reveals findings from a multilayer research project that includes hundreds of manure samples from nearly 100 feedlots in the Midwest. It pinpoints the compartive value and economics of manure derived from indoor bed-pack facilities or those on a pit under roof manure storage, as well as manure generated from open lots.
