Consultation
Typically, Summit first engages with beef producers in a consultative role to help evaluate the financial feasibility of their planned new or expanded beef operations. As needed, Summit then helps producers write business plans and lender presentations, and can help producers make application for grants and other resources that may be available to help fund the projects.

Design
Summit designs the entire facility around the producer’s preferred method of operation to ensure an efficient pen design that meets the feeding, manure-management and cattle-handling needs of the producer.

Regulatory permitting assistance
Summit also ensures the facility is designed for compliance and helps producers navigate the state environmental regulatory permitting process.

Several building solutions
Typically, Summit cattle confinement facilities include monoslope beef barns. However, gable beef barns, as well as needed manure storage and other indoor beef feedlot-related structures, are also designed and built by Summit.

Turnkey construction management
When the feedlot design is approved and permitted, and funding obtained, Summit provides producers with comprehensive turnkey construction management of the entire cattle confinement project, including the site preparation, concrete foundations and flat work, and the construction of the beef buildings.

Summit construction management services also include the coordination and supervision of the work of all subcontractors as needed to get the facility ready for occupancy.

Company-employed crews
The actual construction is completed by Summit's parent company, FBi Buildings, Inc., which has large company-employed crews (with all the right equipment) that come together in a well-orchestrated construction process to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget.
